Dubai Soon To Come Up With “Museum Of The Future”


There are many future projects coming up in Dubai with target of completion within 2020. Most of the project seems promising. One of them comes under our scanner. It’s the “Museum of the Future” which was announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (Prime Minister and Vice President of UAE), earlier this year in March. It was expected to complete in 2017. The motto of the museum is "See the future, create the future". As goes with motto museum is not only to showcase extraordinary hi-tech innovations but it also promises to provide solution for complex technological problems, bringing together the greatest researchers around the world, financial planning for future technological growth and to encourage the young minds to contribute in technological innovations. More than museum it’s a Macca of futuristic invention which will prove very helpful for world’s scientific technological growth.

As it targeted to complete the museum till 2017, there many things revealed about the design and construction and many things are yet to be revealed. For now, name of the concerned architects are under the wraps but design has decided. It will be designed as an oval shaped structure placed horizontally, located alongside Emirates Towers on Sheikh Zayed Road. The museum will be near to iconic Burj Khalifa. It seems that very soon Dubai will be the hub of greatest architecture masterpieces. Whatever little has been revealed, is the hollow oval structure with holographic hoarding in the centre. The outer side will be covered from steel panel with Sheikh Mohammed’s Arabic poetry inscribed on it. Major part of the building will be designed with 3d printed components.
